She is a versatile writer and filmmaker whose work spans multiple genres, and multiple by line aliases. Whether credited with her own name, or someone else’s, comedy people tend to call her work dramas, and drama people tend to call her work comedies. Please take from that what you will. She sure does. Stacee has directed projects featured on MTV (and it’s subsidiaries), The Hallmark Channel, ITV, some other TV networks that she can't think of right now, and a bunch of streaming and digital media platforms. Her work has also undoubtedly been seen some places that she doesn't know about at all because that’s how it be sometimes in the biz. Both coasts have seen premieres of Stacee's own original plays as well as the works of other playwrights that she's directed. Her original musicals have been seen in prestigious venues like New York's DR2 Theatre, and her Lana Del Rey Musical, Born to Die, premiered at Los Angeles' Rockwell Table and Stage. Both on camera and on the stage, she has had the pleasure of working with Oscar winners, Tony winners, Grammy winners, and Emmy winners. She has none of those awards herself, but she's not insecure about it at all! As a non-dramatic writer, her fictitious and non-fictitious words have been in The Huffington Post, The New York Times, published in phantom-esque manors, as well as like, Twitter (no, she still will not call it the other thing). For the most pretentious portion of this bio, Stacee has to say that she studied storytelling in the hallowed-halls of Yale University, Columbia University, Carnegie Mellon University and at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts where she was recruited to speak to students about what it’s like to be a profesh filmmaker.
